Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed

1 can (15 oz) corn, drained

1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes, with juice

1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce

2 tablespoons taco seasoning

1 teaspoon cumin
-
½ teaspoon chili powder
-
¼ cup water

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

In a skillet, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.

Add chopped onion and garlic; sauté until translucent.

Transfer mixture to a slow cooker or pot. Add all remaining ingredients and stir.

For slow cooker: Cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
For stovetop: Simmer covered on low heat for 30 minutes. -
Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot with toppings of choice.
