3โ4 lb beef brisket, trimmed

1 tbsp olive oil

1 large onion, sliced ๐ง

4 cloves garlic, minced ๐ง

1 cup beef broth

1/2 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite!)

2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp brown sugar

1 tsp smoked paprika

1 tsp salt ๐ง

1/2 tsp black pepper

Optional: a splash of balsamic vinegar or red wine for extra depth ๐ท
Instructions

Sear the brisket (optional but adds flavor): Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear brisket on both sides until nicely browned (2โ3 minutes per side).

Place sliced onions and garlic in the bottom of the slow cooker.

In a bowl, whisk together beef broth, BBQ sauce, Worcestershire, soy sauce, brown sugar, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Pour over the brisket.

Place brisket on top of the onions, fat side up.

Cover and cook on low for 8โ10 hours or high for 5โ6 hours, until fork-tender.

Transfer brisket to a cutting board and let it rest for 10โ15 minutes. Slice against the grain.

Optional: Simmer remaining sauce in a saucepan for 10โ15 minutes to thicken before pouring over the sliced meat.
