Philly Cheesesteak Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (or shaved steak)

  • 1 onion, thinly sliced

  • 1 bell pepper, chopped

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 8 oz pasta (penne, rotini, elbows)

  • 2 cups beef broth

  • 1 cup milk or half-and-half

  • 2 tbsp cream cheese (optional)

  • 1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar (optional)

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • Olive oil, for cooking

  • Parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a skillet, brown beef. Drain excess fat.

  3. Add onion, pepper, and garlic. Sautรฉ until soft.

  4. Stir in Worcestershire, beef broth, milk, and cream cheese. Simmer 2โ€“3 minutes.

  5. Add pasta and cheeses. Stir until melted and creamy.

  6. Optional: Transfer to baking dish, top with more cheese, and broil for 2โ€“3 minutes.

  7. Serve hot, garnished with parsley.
