Philly Cheesesteak Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (or shaved steak)

  • 1 onion, thinly sliced

  • 1 bell pepper, chopped

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 8 oz pasta (penne, rotini, elbows)

  • 2 cups beef broth

  • 1 cup milk or half-and-half

  • 2 tbsp cream cheese (optional)

  • 1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar (optional)

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • Olive oil, for cooking

  • Parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a skillet, brown beef. Drain excess fat.

  3. Add onion, pepper, and garlic. Sauté until soft.

  4. Stir in Worcestershire, beef broth, milk, and cream cheese. Simmer 2–3 minutes.

  5. Add pasta and cheeses. Stir until melted and creamy.

  6. Optional: Transfer to baking dish, top with more cheese, and broil for 2–3 minutes.

  7. Serve hot, garnished with parsley.
