Old Fashioned Tuna Noodle Casserole

    Ingredients

    • 12 oz egg noodles

    • 2 (5 oz) cans tuna, drained

    • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup

    • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of celery or chicken soup

    • ½ cup milk

    • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

    • ½ cup frozen peas (optional)

    • ½ tsp garlic powder

    • Salt and pepper, to taste

    • 1½ cups crushed potato chips or breadcrumbs

    Instructions

     
    1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

    2. Cook egg noodles until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    3. In a large bowl, mix both soups, milk, seasonings, tuna, cheese, and peas.

    4. Fold in cooked noodles. Transfer mixture to baking dish.

    5. Top with crushed chips or breadcrumbs.

    6. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.

    7. Let rest 5–10 minutes. Serve warm.
