Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 small head cabbage, chopped

1 (14 oz) can diced tomatoes

1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce

½ cup beef broth or water

1 tsp paprika
-
½ tsp dried oregano
-
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional:

1 tbsp tomato paste
-
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp smoked paprika
-
Crushed red pepper flakes
-
Shredded cheese for topping
Instructions

In a large skillet or pot, brown ground beef with onion over medium heat.

Add garlic, seasonings, and stir for 1 minute.

Mix in tomatoes, tomato sauce, broth, and bring to simmer.

Fold in cabbage. Cover and simmer 25–30 minutes until cabbage is soft.

Optional: Add cheese or extra seasonings during last 5 minutes.

Serve hot, with garnish if desired.
