Ingredients

2 cod fillets (6 oz each) 🐟

2 tbsp soy sauce 🧂

2 tbsp honey 🍯

1 tbsp rice vinegar 🍚

1 tsp sesame oil 🛢️

2 cloves garlic, minced 🧄

1 tsp grated fresh ginger 🌱

½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional) 🌶️

Green onions & sesame seeds for garnish 🌿
Instructions
1. Make the Glaze
In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
2. Sear the Cod
Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add a light drizzle of oil. Place cod fillets in the pan and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until lightly golden.
3. Add the Glaze
Pour the honey-soy mixture into the pan. Spoon sauce over cod and simmer 3–4 minutes until sauce thickens and fish is cooked through (internal temp 145°F).
4. Plate and Garnish
Serve fillets with sauce spooned on top. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
