Ingredients
- 1 rotisserie chicken, shredded
- 1 block (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 cup shredded Mexican cheese (cheddar or Monterey Jack)
- 10 small flour tortillas
- Cooking spray or olive oil
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat & Prepare
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Step 2: Make the Filling
- In a large bowl, mix together shredded chicken, cream cheese, sour cream, salsa, garlic powder, cumin, and chili powder.
- Stir in shredded cheese until well combined.
Step 3: Assemble the Taquitos
- Warm tortillas for 10-15 seconds in the microwave to make them more flexible.
- Spoon 2-3 tablespoons of the chicken mixture onto one side of each tortilla.
- Roll the tortilla tightly, placing it seam-side down on the baking sheet.
Step 4: Bake or Air Fry
- To Bake: Lightly spray taquitos with cooking spray or brush with oil. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- To Air Fry: Place taquitos in a single layer in the air fryer basket and air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
