These Heart-Shaped Mini Pizzas are a fun, delicious, and adorable way to make pizza night extra special! Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup warm water (110°F)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 12-15 slices pepperoni (cut into heart shapes)
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano or fresh basil

 

 

 

 

Instructions

1. Make the Pizza Dough

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add warm water and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes, until it becomes smooth.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise for 30-45 minutes, or until doubled in size.

2. Shape the Pizzas

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Roll out the dough to about ¼-inch thick.
  3. Using a heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut out heart shapes from the dough.
  4. Place the hearts onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.

3. Add the Toppings

  1. Spread pizza sauce evenly over each heart-shaped dough piece.
  2. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese generously on top.
  3. Cut pepperoni slices into heart shapes using scissors or a small cutter and place them on top.
  4. Sprinkle with oregano or basil for extra flavor.

4. Bake the Pizzas

  1. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  2. Let cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
