Ingredients
For the sliders:
- 12 soft slider buns (Hawaiian rolls or brioche work great)
- 1 lb roast beef, thinly sliced (deli-style or homemade)
- 8 slices provolone cheese (or Swiss for a classic touch)
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
For the Au Jus Dipping Sauce:
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Make the Au Jus
- In a small saucepan, combine beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Bring to a simmer over medium heat and let it cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and keep warm until ready to serve.
2. Assemble the Sliders
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the slider buns in half, keeping the bottom half intact.
- Place the bottom buns on a greased baking dish or sheet pan.
- Layer the roast beef evenly over the buns.
- Add a slice of provolone cheese over each piece of beef.
- Place the top half of the buns back on.
3. Make the Butter Glaze
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Brush the tops of the buns generously with this mixture to give them a golden, flavorful finish.
4. Bake Until Golden & Gooey
- Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes to let the cheese melt.
- Remove the foil and bake for another 5 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and slightly crispy.
5. Serve with Au Jus
- Remove the sliders from the oven and let them cool for a couple of minutes.
- Slice them into individual sliders and serve with warm au jus for dipping.
