4 (6-ounce) filet mignon steaks

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

Β½ cup finely chopped shallots

2 garlic cloves, minced

4 ounces shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 ounces lobster meat, chopped

Β½ cup chicken broth
-
1 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves

1 tablespoon unsalted butter
Instructions

Season steaks with salt and pepper.

Heat olive oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steaks 4β5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Transfer to a plate, tent with foil.

In same skillet, sautΓ© shallots and garlic for 2 minutes.

Add shrimp and lobster, cook 2β3 minutes until opaque.

Deglaze pan with chicken broth, scraping up brown bits.

Add heavy cream and thyme, simmer 3β4 minutes to thicken.

Remove from heat and stir in butter.

Serve sauce over filet mignon immediately.
