Ingredients

    • 3 ripe bananas

    • 1/2 cup sugar

    • 1/3 cup melted butter

    • 1 egg

    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    • 1 teaspoon baking soda

    • Pinch of salt

    • 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour

    • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.

    1. In a large bowl, mash the bananas with a fork. Stir in the sugar, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract.

    1. Mix in the baking soda and salt, then add the flour and mix until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.

    1. Spoon the batter into the muffin tin, filling each cup about 3/4 full.

    1. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

    1. Allow to cool in the tin for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
