Ingredients

- 3 ripe bananas

- 1/2 cup sugar

- 1/3 cup melted butter

- 1 egg

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- Pinch of salt

- 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour

- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions

- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.

- In a large bowl, mash the bananas with a fork. Stir in the sugar, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract.

- Mix in the baking soda and salt, then add the flour and mix until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.

- Spoon the batter into the muffin tin, filling each cup about 3/4 full.

- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

- Allow to cool in the tin for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
