Ingredients
🥧 For the Pie:
- 1 unbaked 9-inch deep-dish pie crust
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 3 large eggs 🥚
- 1/3 cup melted unsalted butter 🧈
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups pecan halves or pieces (toasted, if desired) 🌰
Optional (but awesome):
- 1 tbsp bourbon 🥃 (adds depth!)
- Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for serving 🍦
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place your pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish. Crimp the edges as you like.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, butter, vanilla, and salt until well combined.
- Stir in the pecans and optional bourbon.
- Pour the filling into the unbaked pie shell.
- Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly. If the crust starts browning too fast, cover the edges with foil.
- Cool completely before slicing — this allows the filling to fully set.

Want a little twist? Add a handful of chocolate chips 🍫 to the filling before baking for a rich, sweet surprise.
