1 unbaked pie shell (deep dish recommended)

3 large eggs

½ cup sugar

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Slightly beat the eggs in a mixing bowl.

Add sugar, salt, nutmeg, milk, and vanilla. Whisk until well blended.

Pour mixture into unbaked pie shell.

Bake 35–40 minutes, or until set with a slight jiggle in the center.

Remove and let cool to room temperature.

Sprinkle additional nutmeg on top and serve.
