  • 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

  • 1 cup marinara sauce

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella

  • 12–16 slices pepperoni or 1 cup diced cooked sausage/veggies

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • 1/2 tsp dried basil (or 1 tsp fresh)

  • 1/4 cup diced roasted red bell pepper

  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or basil

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan (optional)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1 egg + 1 tbsp water (egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.

  2. Roll dough and cut into 12–16 squares.

  3. In each square, place 1 tbsp marinara, a sprinkle of mozzarella, pepperoni/veggie, and a few red pepper pieces.

  4. Brush edges with egg wash; fold and seal each pocket. Place seam-side down on baking sheet.

  5. Mix melted butter with garlic; brush over each bomb. Sprinkle Parmesan and extra cheese if desired.

  6. Bake 14–18 minutes until golden brown. Brush with remaining garlic butter.

  7. Garnish with chopped parsley/basil and serve with warm marinara for dipping.
