Ingredients
-
2 cans (15 oz each) sliced peaches in syrup, undrained
-
1 box yellow cake mix
-
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
-
1/4 cup brown sugar
-
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
-
1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
📝 Tip: Be sure not to drain the peaches—the syrup helps create the saucy bottom layer and keeps the cake moist and rich.
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter or non-stick cooking spray.
Step 2: Layer the Ingredients
-
Pour both cans of sliced peaches with syrup into the prepared baking dish.
-
Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the peaches—no stirring necessary!
-
Drizzle the melted butter slowly over the top, trying to cover as much of the dry cake mix as possible.
-
Sprinkle with brown sugar and ground cinnamon for sweetness and spice.
-
If you’re using pecans, scatter them across the top for crunch.
Step 3: Bake
Bake the cake in the preheated oven for 45–50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbling with peachy goodness.
Step 4: Serve
Allow the dump cake to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with:
-
A scoop of vanilla ice cream
-
A generous spoonful of whipped cream
-
A drizzle of caramel sauce for a sweet finishing touch
