Hawaiian Grilled Teriyaki Chicken 🍍🔥
A juicy, island-inspired grilled chicken recipe with homemade pineapple-ginger teriyaki sauce. Sweet, smoky, and packed with flavor—perfect for your next BBQ or tropical-themed dinner.

 

 


Ingredients

  • lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs

  • 1 cup soy sauce

  • 1 cup packed brown sugar

  • 1 cup pineapple juice

  • 4 garlic cloves, chopped

  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced

Instructions

  1. Marinate: Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, pineapple juice, garlic, and ginger. Pour over chicken in a sealed bag or bowl. Marinate at least 4 hours or overnight.

  2. Simmer Marinade: After removing chicken, pour leftover marinade into saucepan. Simmer 5–10 minutes.

  3. Grill: Cook chicken on a hot grill for 6–7 minutes per side, or until internal temp hits 165°F.

  4. Baste & Serve: Brush chicken with the hot marinade during cooking. After grilling, pour remaining hot marinade over cooked chicken.

  5. Enjoy: Serve hot with rice, grilled pineapple, and your favorite sides.
