  • One 4-ounce can diced green chilies, drained
  • 2 cups Bisquick
  • 1 cup water

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
  2. In a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef with the taco seasoning until browned.
  3. Add the minced onion and diced green chilies to the skillet, cooking until the onion is tender and slightly browned, about 5 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, mix the sour cream, mayonnaise, and half of each cheese (cheddar and pepper jack). Set aside.
  5. In another bowl, combine the Bisquick and water, stirring until a soft dough forms.

  7. Layer the cooked ground beef mixture over the Bisquick dough.
  8. Spread the sour cream mixture on top of the beef layer.
  9. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar and pepper jack cheese over the top.
  10. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and golden brown on top.
  11. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
