Ingredients
For the sliders:
- 12 soft slider buns (sesame seed preferred)
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend for juicy patties)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 6 slices American cheese, cut in half
- ½ cup shredded lettuce
- 12 pickle slices
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
For the Homemade Big Mac Sauce:
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sweet relish
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
1. Make the Special Sauce
- In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet relish, mustard, vinegar, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes (this enhances the flavors).
2. Prepare the Burger Patties
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Press the mixture into a 9×13-inch baking pan, flattening it into an even layer.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the beef is fully cooked.
3. Assemble the Sliders
- Slice your slider buns in half, keeping the bottom halves together.
- Brush the bottom buns with a little melted butter for extra flavor.
- Place the cooked beef patty slab on top of the buns.
- Add slices of American cheese evenly over the beef while it’s still warm.
- Layer on lettuce and pickles.
- Spread Big Mac sauce generously on the top halves of the buns, then place them on top.
4. Bake for the Perfect Finish
- Brush the tops of the buns with melted butter for a golden crust.
- Cover with foil and bake for 5 minutes to melt the cheese and bring everything together.
5. Serve & Enjoy!
- Remove from the oven, slice the sliders, and serve with extra Big Mac sauce on the side.
Notes
🍔 Press the patties evenly – Ensuring the beef is spread evenly prevents some parts from cooking faster than others.
