Ingredients
For the Sliders:
- 1 ½ lbs ground beef (80/20)
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder (optional)
- 6 slices cheddar cheese (or American cheese)
- 12 Hawaiian rolls (or soft dinner rolls)
For the Garlic Butter Topping:
- 4 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- ½ tsp parsley, chopped
- ½ tsp sesame seeds (optional, for topping)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Meat
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Press the seasoned beef into a 9×13-inch baking dish or baking sheet, forming an even layer.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the beef is fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
Step 2: Add the Cheese
- While the beef is still hot, layer slices of cheese on top.
- Return the beef to the oven for 2-3 minutes, just until the cheese melts.
Step 3: Assemble the Sliders
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half, keeping them connected.
- Place the cheesy beef layer on the bottom half of the rolls.
- Top with the upper half of the buns.
Step 4: Make the Garlic Butter
- Melt butter and mix it with minced garlic and parsley.
- Brush this mixture generously over the tops of the buns.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds on top for extra crunch.
Step 5: Bake to Perfection
- Cover the sliders with foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 2-3 minutes to get the tops golden brown.
Step 6: Serve & Enjoy!
Use a knife to cut the sliders apart and serve them hot. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauces!
