Tender and Juicy Garlic Butter Steak Bites

Making perfect steak bites is easier than you think! But here are a few key tips to elevate your cooking game:

Ingredients

For the Steak Bites:

  • 2 pounds steak (beef tenderloin, ribeye, or sirloin), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for searing)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

For the Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme (or ½ teaspoon dried)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped (optional, but adds amazing flavor)
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for a little heat)
  • Fresh parsley or chives, for garnish

Instructions

Step 1: Prep the Steak

  • Pat the steak bites dry with a paper towel (this helps them sear better).
  • Season generously with salt and black pepper.

Step 2: Sear the Steak

  • Heat a large skillet over high heat and add olive oil.
  • Once hot, add the steak bites in a single layer. Let them sear for about 2 minutes without moving them to develop a golden crust.
  • Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes, depending on how well done you like your steak.
  • Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

Step 3: Make the Garlic Butter Sauce

  • Reduce heat to medium-low and add butter to the same skillet.
  • Once melted, add minced garlic, thyme, and rosemary. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Stir in the crushed red pepper flakes (if using).

Step 4: Combine and Serve

  • Return the steak bites to the pan and toss them in the garlic butter sauce.
  • Cook for another minute, just until the steak is well-coated.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley or chives, and serve immediately.
