Ingredients
For the Sugar Cookie Base:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 ½ cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Sprinkles, for decorating
Instructions
1. Make the Cookie Base
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs, vanilla, and almond extract. Mix until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until a soft dough forms.
2. Bake the Cookie Bars
- Spread the dough evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let cool completely before frosting.
3. Make the Frosting
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth and creamy.
- Add powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt. Beat until light and fluffy.
4. Frost & Decorate
- Spread the frosting evenly over the cooled sugar cookie bars.
- Add sprinkles for a festive touch!
5. Slice & Serve
- Cut into bars or squares and enjoy!
