  • 1 box yellow cake mix

  • Ingredients as required on box (typically oil, water, and 3 eggs)

  • 1 can strawberry pie filling (21 oz)

  • 1–2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/3 cup strawberry preserves or jam

  • 1–2 tbsp milk or whipped topping

  • Optional: additional whipped topping or ice cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  2. Prepare cake batter as directed on the box.

  3. Pour batter into the pan evenly.

  4. Spoon strawberry pie filling over the batter β€” swirl gently with a knife.

  5. Add chopped strawberries over the top.

  6. In a small bowl, whisk cream cheese, preserves, and milk until smooth.

  7. Drizzle the strawberry glaze over the cake.
