  2. Rub both sides with:

    • Olive oil

    • Garlic powder
    • Smoked paprika
    • Worcestershire sauce

  3. Heat a cast-iron skillet over high heat until very hot.

  5. Cook for:

    • 3-4 minutes per side (for medium-rare)
    • 5-6 minutes per side (for medium)

  6. In the last minute, add fresh thyme or rosemary for extra flavor.
  7. Remove from heat and let the steak rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Step 3: Toast the Bread

  1. Spread butter on the bread slices.
  2. Toast in a pan or oven until golden brown and crispy.

Step 4: Assemble the Sandwich

  1. Spread horseradish sauce generously on both sides of the toasted bread.
  2. Layer on:

    • Fresh arugula or baby spinach
    • Thinly sliced steak
    • Red onions (or caramelized onions for extra sweetness)
