Ingredients
For the Brownie Base:
- 1 box brownie mix (plus eggs, oil, and water as directed)
- or use homemade brownie batter
- 6 Snickers bars, chopped into small pieces
For the Chocolate Topping:
- 1 ½ cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
- ¼ cup heavy cream (for smoothness)
- ½ cup chopped peanuts or toffee bits (for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1: Bake the Brownie Base
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper and grease lightly.
- Prepare brownie batter according to box directions or use homemade batter.
- Pour half of the batter into the pan, then evenly sprinkle chopped Snickers pieces over it.
- Pour the remaining batter over the Snickers layer and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let cool completely before adding the topping.
Step 2: Make the Chocolate Topping
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and heavy cream in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Pour melted chocolate over the cooled brownies, spreading evenly.
- Sprinkle with chopped peanuts or toffee bits for extra crunch.
