It brings to mind cozy evenings and warm gatherings, making it the perfect setting for introducing our Snickerdoodle Cobbler. This dessert blends the classic snickerdoodle cookie with the rich, homey taste of apple pie, creating a hybrid that’s both familiar and surprisingly new.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (17.5 oz.) snickerdoodle cookie mix
  • ½ cup salted butter (1 stick)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 can (21 oz.) apple pie filling
  • 3 tablespoons caramel topping
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease an 8-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the cookie mix, butter, and egg until well mixed.
  3. Distribute half of the dough in spoonfuls at the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon sugar.
  4. Evenly spread the apple pie filling over the dough.
  5. Dot the remaining cookie dough in spoonfuls over the apple pie filling and sprinkle with the remaining teaspoon of cinnamon sugar.
  6. Drizzle the caramel topping over the top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  8. Serve warm, topped with ice cream.
