Sautéed Asparagus and Mushrooms 🌿🍄
A simple yet flavorful side dish of crisp asparagus and tender mushrooms, sautéed in garlic, soy sauce, and a touch of butter.

Ingredients

 

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

  • 8 oz asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2” pieces

  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon liquid aminos or soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon butter

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Break off woody ends of asparagus and cut into 2-inch pieces.

  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add asparagus and cook for 3–4 minutes.

  3. Toss mushrooms in liquid aminos and add to skillet. Cook until tender, about 5–6 minutes.

  4. Push veggies to the side. Add butter and garlic to the center. Cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.

  5. Stir everything together. Cook 1 more minute. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Serve warm as a side or topping.
