Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef or thinly sliced steak 🥩
- 12 oz rigatoni or penne pasta 🍝
- 1 tbsp butter 🧈
- 1 small onion, diced 🧅
- 1 green bell pepper, diced 🫑 (optional)
- 2 cups beef broth 🍲
- 1 cup heavy cream 🥛
- 1½ cups shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese 🧀
- Salt and pepper to taste 🧂
Instructions
1. Cook Pasta
Boil pasta until al dente, drain, and set aside.
2. Brown Beef
In a skillet, cook beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
3. Sauté Veggies
Add butter, onions, and bell pepper (if using). Cook until soft.
4. Make Sauce
Add beef broth and cream. Simmer 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened.
5. Combine and Cheese It
Add cooked pasta, stir in cheese until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Serve
Serve hot, garnished with extra cheese or parsley.
