Main Ingredients:
- 12 oz pasta (rigatoni, penne, or rotini work best)
- 1 lb steak (ribeye or sirloin, thinly sliced)
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil (for searing the steak)
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce (for umami depth)
For the Creamy Cheese Sauce:
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (for thickening)
- 1 cup shredded provolone cheese (or mozzarella)
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (for extra cheesiness)
Toppings (Optional but Recommended!):
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Pasta
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
- Drain and set aside.
Step 2: Cook the Steak
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet or pot over medium-high heat.
- Add the thinly sliced steak, season with salt & black pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
- Remove the steak from the pan and set aside.
Step 3: Sauté the Veggies
- In the same pan, melt 1 tbsp butter.
- Add onions and bell peppers and cook for 3-4 minutes until soft.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
Step 4: Make the Creamy Cheese Sauce
- Pour in beef broth and heavy cream, stirring well.
- In a small bowl, mix 1 tbsp cornstarch with 2 tbsp water and add to the sauce.
- Bring to a gentle simmer and let the sauce thicken.
- Stir in shredded provolone and cheddar cheese, mixing until melted and smooth.
- Add Worcestershire sauce for extra depth of flavor.
Step 5: Combine Everything
- Return the cooked steak to the pan.
- Add the cooked pasta and toss everything together, coating the pasta in the creamy cheese sauce.
- Let it cook for another 2 minutes, allowing the flavors to blend.
Step 6: Garnish & Serve
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and extra cheese.
