1 lb ground beef

1 cup bread crumbs

1 egg

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup diced onion

1/2 cup diced green pepper

1 cup sliced mushrooms

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 cup provolone cheese, sliced

1/2 cup beef broth

1/4 cup ketchup

2 tbsp brown sugar

1 tsp mustard
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, onion, pepper, mushrooms, Worcestershire, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Press half into loaf pan. Layer provolone over meat. Cover with remaining meat and seal edges.

Mix beef broth, ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Pour over top.

Bake uncovered for 1 hour.

Rest 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
