Oreo Peppermint Bark

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces dark chocolate (chopped or chocolate chips)
  • 12 ounces white chocolate (chopped or white chocolate chips)
  • 12 Oreo cookies, crushed into chunks
  • ½ cup crushed peppermint candies (or candy canes)


Instructions

Step 1: Melt the Dark Chocolate

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
  2. Spread the melted dark chocolate evenly onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and smooth it out.
  3. Sprinkle half of the crushed Oreos on top.
  4. Place in the fridge for 15 minutes to set.

Step 2: Melt the White Chocolate

  1. Melt the white chocolate in the same way as the dark chocolate, stirring until smooth.
  2. Pour over the hardened dark chocolate layer and spread evenly.
  3. Sprinkle with the remaining Oreos and crushed peppermint candies.

Step 3: Chill & Break

  1. Place the bark in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or until completely set.
  2. Once firm, break into irregular pieces and serve!
