Ingredients
-
4 cups water
-
4 black tea bags (or green tea if preferred)
-
1 large orange, thinly sliced
-
2–3 fresh rosemary sprigs
-
1–2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
-
Ice cubes
Instructions
-
Boil the Water: Bring the 4 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan.
-
Brew the Tea: Once the water is boiling, remove from heat and add the tea bags. Let steep for about 5–7 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea.
-
Add Rosemary: While the tea is steeping, add the rosemary sprigs to the hot tea to infuse their flavor.
-
Sweeten: If you’d like your tea a little sweet, stir in honey or maple syrup while the tea is still warm so it dissolves easily.
-
Cool It Down: Remove the tea bags and rosemary. Let the tea cool to room temperature, then transfer it to the fridge to chill for at least an hour.
-
Serve: Pour over ice, garnish with fresh orange slices and an extra rosemary sprig for flair, and enjoy!
