Ingredients
- For the crust:
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- For the filling:
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Zest of 1 orange
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 tablespoon gelatin, dissolved in 1/4 cup hot water
- For the topping:
- 1 cup whipped cream
- Orange slices for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the crust: Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a springform pan. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Make the filling: Beat cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract to stiff peaks. Fold whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
- Flavor the filling: Stir in orange zest and orange juice. Add the dissolved gelatin and mix until well combined.
- Assemble: Pour the filling over the crust and smooth the top with a spatula. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
- Garnish: Before serving, top with whipped cream and orange slices.
