How to Make Maple Cookies with Maple Icing
Step 1: Make the Cookie Dough
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2️⃣ In a bowl, cream together butter, sugar, and maple syrup until light and fluffy.
3️⃣ Beat in egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
4️⃣ In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
5️⃣ Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until a soft dough forms.
Step 2: Shape & Bake the Cookies
6️⃣ Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place them 2 inches apart on the baking sheet.

🔟 In a bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, maple syrup, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
