Ingredients

  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 2 eggs, whisked
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted

For the Glaze:

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Cookies

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, whisked eggs, and melted butter, stirring until fully incorporated. The dough will be thick.
  • Using a medium-sized cookie scoop or a heaping tablespoon, portion the dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 7-8 minutes, then remove from the oven. Let the cookies cool on the sheet for 4-5 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack. Repeat until all the dough is baked.

  1. Glaze

  • In a small saucepan, combine the glaze ingredients: butter, granulated sugar, water, and vanilla.
  • Cook over medium-low heat, whisking continuously until the sugar dissolves, about 4 minutes.
  • Spoon a teaspoon of glaze over each cooled cookie, spreading it as needed.
  • Allow the glaze to set before sprinkling with powdered sugar for a beautiful finish.
