Ingredients
- 2 (8-ounce) cans crescent roll dough (or 1 pound pizza dough)
- 1/2 pound deli ham, thinly sliced
- 1/2 pound salami, thinly sliced
- 1/2 pound pepperoni, thinly sliced
- 1/2 pound provolone cheese, sliced
- 1/4 cup banana peppers, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for a spicy kick)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
1. Preheat & Prep the Dough
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray or olive oil.
Unroll one can of crescent roll dough (or half the pizza dough) and press it evenly into the bottom of the baking dish. Make sure it reaches the edges. If using crescent roll dough, pinch the seams together to form a solid crust.
2. Layer the Goodness
Start layering your ingredients in the following order:
- Half of the provolone cheese
- All of the ham
- All of the salami
- All of the pepperoni
- Banana peppers (spread evenly for tangy goodness)
- The rest of the provolone cheese
3. Add Seasoning & Top Crust
- Drizzle olive oil over the top layer.
- Sprinkle with oregano, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes for that signature Italian flavor.
- Carefully unroll the second can of crescent roll dough (or the remaining pizza dough) and place it on top of the layered filling. Pinch the edges to seal.
4. Egg Wash & Bake
- Brush the beaten egg over the top crust for a golden, shiny finish.
- Sprinkle with grated Parmesan for extra flavor.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and crispy.
5. Rest, Slice & Serve
Let the dish cool for 5–10 minutes before slicing into squares. This helps everything set, making it easier to serve.
