There’s nothing quite as refreshing as iced tea on a warm day, and when you add the sweet, tropical flavor of pineapple, it becomes even more irresistible! Homemade Pineapple Iced Tea is a delicious, naturally sweet, and slightly tangy beverage that’s perfect for summer, backyard barbecues, or just a relaxing afternoon at home.

Ingredients

🍍 For the Tea:

  • 4 cups water
  • 3 black tea bags (or green tea for a lighter taste)
  • 1 ½ cups pineapple juice (fresh or store-bought)
  • ¼ cup honey, sugar, or sweetener of choice (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (for brightness)

🧊 For Serving:

  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh pineapple slices (for garnish)
  • Lemon slices or mint leaves (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Brew the Tea

  1. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil, then remove from heat.
  2. Add the tea bags and steep for 5-7 minutes (longer for a stronger flavor).
  3. Remove tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.

Step 2: Add Pineapple Flavor

  1. Stir in pineapple juice, honey or sugar, and lemon juice. Mix well until the sweetener dissolves.

Step 3: Chill & Serve

  1. Transfer the tea to the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 1 hour.
  2. Fill glasses with ice, then pour the chilled tea over the ice.
  3. Garnish with fresh pineapple slices, lemon wedges, or mint leaves.

Step 4: Enjoy!

Sip and enjoy your homemade Pineapple Iced Tea—refreshing, fruity, and oh-so-delicious!
