Ingredients
For the Pizza Dough (or use store-bought dough):
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) instant yeast
- ¾ cup warm water (110°F/45°C)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
For the Pizza Toppings:
- ½ cup pizza sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup parmesan cheese (optional)
- 12-15 slices pepperoni (or your favorite toppings)
- Fresh basil or oregano for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Pizza Dough
- In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add flour, olive oil, and salt, then mix until a dough forms.
- Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rise for 30-40 minutes.
2. Shape the Mini Pizzas
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough to ¼-inch thickness.
- Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter (or cut by hand) to create mini pizza hearts.
3. Add Toppings
- Place the heart-shaped dough pieces onto a lined baking sheet.
- Spread pizza sauce evenly on each heart.
- Sprinkle with mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
- Add pepperoni slices or your favorite toppings.
4. Bake to Perfection
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
- Let cool slightly, then sprinkle with fresh basil or oregano.
5. Serve & Enjoy!
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces like garlic butter or ranch.
