  • ½ cup heavy cream or milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Step 1: Preheat & Prepare the Baking Dish

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.

Step 2: Prepare the Bread Mixture

  • Place the cubed bread in the greased baking dish.
  • Sprinkle raisins evenly over the bread.

Step 3: Make the Custard

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
