Instructions
1. Prepare the Glaze
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes.
- Bring to a gentle simmer, then stir in the cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce slightly.
- Remove from heat and set aside.
2. Cook the Cod
- Pat cod fillets dry and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Sear the cod for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and flaky.
3. Glaze the Cod
- Pour the ginger soy glaze over the cooked cod, letting it coat the fillets evenly.
- Simmer for 1-2 minutes, spooning the sauce over the fish.
