Ingredients
- 1 (12 oz) bottle Parmesan Garlic Sauce
- 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into chunks
- 1 cup milk
- 8 oz cream cheese, cut into cubes
- 12 oz pasta (penne, rigatoni, or fettuccine)
- 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter or olive oil
- Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Chicken
- Heat 2 tablespoons of butter or olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add chicken pieces, season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning, and cook until golden brown and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from heat and set aside.
Step 2: Cook the Pasta
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and cook pasta according to package instructions.
- Drain and set aside.
Step 3: Make the Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce
- In the same skillet used for the chicken, add the Parmesan Garlic Sauce, milk, and cream cheese cubes.
- Stir continuously over medium heat until the cream cheese melts and the sauce becomes smooth.
- Add shredded parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
Step 4: Combine Everything
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and mix well.
- Add the cooked pasta, tossing to coat evenly in the creamy sauce.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing everything to heat through.
