If you love a warm, melty, and juicy sandwich, these French Dip Sliders will be your new favorite! Packed with tender roast beef, gooey melted cheese, and served with a rich au jus dipping sauce, these sliders take everything great about a classic French dip sandwich and shrink it into bite-sized perfection.

Ingredients

For the Sliders:

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls or slider buns
  • 1 pound thinly sliced roast beef (deli-style or homemade)
  • 6 slices provolone cheese (or Swiss)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

For the Au Jus Dipping Sauce:

  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce (optional, for deeper flavor)

 


Instructions

1. Preheat & Prepare

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. Assemble the Sliders

  • Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half, keeping the tops and bottoms intact.
  • Place the bottom half in the baking dish.
  • Layer half of the cheese, then the roast beef, followed by the remaining cheese.
  • Place the top half of the rolls on top.

3. Make the Buttery Topping

  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  • Brush evenly over the tops of the sliders.
  • Sprinkle with sesame seeds, if using.

4. Bake the Sliders

  • Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake 5 more minutes until golden brown.

5. Make the Au Jus Sauce

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and soy sauce.
  • Simmer for 5 minutes, then remove from heat.

6. Serve & Enjoy!

  • Slice the sliders into individual portions.
  • Serve with warm au jus sauce for dipping.
