Ingredients
- 2 blocks (16 oz) cream cheese, softened π§
- 1 1/2 cups finely shredded cheddar cheese π§
- 1/2 cup finely chopped dill pickles π₯
- 2 tbsp pickle juice π
- 1 tsp garlic powder π§
- 1 tsp onion powder π§
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh dill or 1 tbsp dried dill πΏ
- Salt and pepper to taste π§
Coating:
- 1/4 cup chopped dill pickles or relish π₯
- 1/4 cup chopped herbs (dill or parsley) πΏ
- 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds or crushed crackers for crunch β¨
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheddar, chopped pickles, pickle juice, garlic powder, onion powder, dill, salt, and pepper. Mix until fully combined and creamy.
Form the mixture into a ball using your hands or wrap in plastic wrap and shape. Chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour to firm up.
Combine coating ingredients on a plate. Roll the cheese ball in the mixture until fully covered for texture and visual appeal.
Place on a platter with crackers, baguette slices, or veggies, and let the snacking begin!
