Ingredients

For the Brownies:

  • 1 box strawberry cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped

For the Strawberry Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons strawberry puree (or mashed fresh strawberries)
  • 1 tablespoon milk or heavy cream
  • ½ teaspoon lemon juice (optional, for tangy flavor)


Instructions

1. Prepare the Batter

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line a 9×9-inch baking dish with parchment paper and grease lightly.
  • In a bowl, mix cake mix, eggs, oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Gently fold in chopped strawberries.

2. Bake the Brownies

  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.
  • Spread evenly and bake for 18-22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Let cool completely before adding the glaze.

3. Make the Strawberry Glaze

  • In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, strawberry puree, milk, and lemon juice until smooth.

4. Glaze & Serve
