Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese, full fat and softened
- 1 tube of crescent roll dough
- 2 lemons, juiced and zested
- ½ cup +1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp butter, unsalted and melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preparation: Preheat your oven to 350°F. Lightly spray a baking pan with nonstick spray.
- Prepare the Base: Unroll the tube of crescent roll dough and divide it in half. Place the first half on the bottom of the pan, pinching together the seams. Stretch the dough slightly if necessary to fit.

- Assemble: Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough in the pan. Take the remaining half of the dough, squeeze together any perforations, stretch to fit, and lay it over the filling.
- Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown.
- Finishing Touches: Remove from oven, drizzle with melted butter, and brush to cover the entire top. Sprinkle with the remaining tablespoon of sugar.
- Chill: Allow the bars to cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 6 hours.
- Serve: Cut into bars and serve chilled. Enjoy the burst of lemon in every creamy bite!
