Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed and halved (or 2 cans drained, or 1 bag frozen) πŸ’š
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup πŸ„
  • 1/2 cup milk or plant-based milk πŸ₯›
  • 1 tsp soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce 🌿
  • Salt and pepper to taste πŸ§‚
  • 1 1/3 cups crispy fried onions πŸ§…

Instructions

How to Make It πŸ”ͺπŸ”₯ 1. Prep the Green Beans

If using fresh beans, blanch in boiling water for 5 minutes, then drain. For frozen, thaw and drain. Canned beans are ready to go.

2. Mix the Sauce

In a bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, salt, and pepper until smooth.

3. Assemble the Casserole

In a 9×13” baking dish, combine green beans, sauce, and half of the fried onions. Mix well.

4. Bake

Bake at 350Β°F (175Β°C) for 25 minutes, until hot and bubbly.

5. Top and Bake Again

Sprinkle remaining fried onions on top and bake for 5-10 more minutes until golden and crispy.
