Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed and halved (or 2 cans drained, or 1 bag frozen) π
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup π
- 1/2 cup milk or plant-based milk π₯
- 1 tsp soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce πΏ
- Salt and pepper to taste π§
- 1 1/3 cups crispy fried onions π§
Instructions
If using fresh beans, blanch in boiling water for 5 minutes, then drain. For frozen, thaw and drain. Canned beans are ready to go.
In a bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, salt, and pepper until smooth.
In a 9×13β baking dish, combine green beans, sauce, and half of the fried onions. Mix well.
Bake at 350Β°F (175Β°C) for 25 minutes, until hot and bubbly.
Sprinkle remaining fried onions on top and bake for 5-10 more minutes until golden and crispy.
