1. Prepare the Chicken & Sauce
- Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, sour cream, chicken broth, Italian dressing mix, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth.
2. Pour & Cook
- Pour the creamy mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 5-6 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and shreds easily.
3. Shred & Serve
- Once cooked, shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker or serve it whole.
- Stir the sauce well so it’s extra creamy and coats the chicken perfectly.
- Serve over angel hair pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes, and garnish with fresh parsley or thyme.
