Ingredients
- 1 lb imitation crab meat, flaked or cut into chunks (or real lump crab meat)
- ½ cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for a lighter version)
- 1 tbsp sour cream (optional, adds extra creaminess)
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard (for a tangy kick)
- ½ cup celery, finely chopped
- ¼ cup red onion, finely diced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley or dill, chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice (brightens the flavors!)
- ½ tsp garlic powder

- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Crab
- If using imitation crab, cut it into bite-sized chunks or shred it into flakes.
- If using real lump crab meat, gently break apart any large pieces, being careful not to crush the delicate meat.
Step 2: Mix the Dressing
- In a large bowl, whisk together:
- Mayonnaise
- Sour cream (if using)
- Dijon mustard
- Lemon juice
- Garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper
- Stir until the dressing is smooth and well combined.
Step 3: Combine & Chill
- Add the crab meat, celery, red onion, and parsley to the bowl with the dressing.
- Gently fold everything together until well coated in the creamy mixture.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Step 4: Serve & Enjoy!
- Garnish with green onions and extra parsley for freshness.
- Serve chilled on crackers, toast, inside a sandwich, or over a bed of lettuce.
