Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 2/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups diced apples (peeled)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, then mix in the milk, oil, and vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients, stirring until just mixed. Fold in the diced apples.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
